Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO)

On behalf of the AGO, Outsourced Environmental is facilitating an audit of greenhouse gas emissions in the processing tomato industry (Northern Victoria and Southern New South Wales).

The study under way is looking at farming practices and behaviours contributing to greenhouse gas emissions.

Of particular focus are practices relating to nitrogen use, diesel and electricity (pumping), cultivation, trash and stubble management, and biodiversity (presence of carbon sinks).
