Fertilizer Industry Federation of Australia (FIFA)

FIFA contracted Outsourced Environmental to advise on the production of a set of guidelines, which would assist others in developing nutrient management codes of practice (Cracking the Nutrient Code). The target audience for the guidelines includes Catchment Management Authorities, Government Advisers, Project Managers, Industry Associations (National Farmers Federation etc) and Environmental Management Systems Specialists. The guidelines creatively display the key environmental principles required to effectively manage the five main environmental risks associated with nutrient management in agriculture. The guidelines are currently being distributed to assist developers of EMS solutions for rural industries in designing the elements required to manage nutrient related risks.
